Paulo Monteiro nasceu em junho de 1963, na ilha de S. Miguel, Açores, onde vive atualmente.

Atividade no campo da Fotografia desde 1985.

Tem desenvolvido projetos de longa duração sobre os mais diversos temas: religiosidade popular, festas profanas, arquitetura, paisagem, a Natureza, ou o mundo do trabalho.

 

Paulo Monteiro was born June 1963, in São Miguel Island, Azores, where he currently lives and works.

He has been a photographer since 1985.

He has developed long term projects about various subjects, such as popular religiosity, profane festivities, architecture, landscape, Nature, or the world of work.
